BCOM: BACHELOR OF COMMERCE
The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) has the objective of preparing graduates who embody the University graduate attributes. The proper and effective identification and definition of graduate attributes and their successful attainment at the end of the programme will result in graduate outcomes. skills, attitude, values and habits on one hand and the tools of analysis and the holistic development of the personality on the other to understand and actively participate in the modern business and economics world, Implementation of NEP to degree courses will enrich the student and help in graduation by providing and opportunity to learn from other streams and overall development .
ELIGIBILITY
A candidate who has passed two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission to this programme.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Students of Commerce have ample opportunities in the areas of Civil Services (like IAS, IPS, IFS, KAS, KPS, PFS etc.). Other than Civil Services are- Accountant, Auditor, Business Consultant, Certified Public Accountant, Company Secretary, Chartered Accountant, Business Analyst, Chief Financial Officer, Finance Consultant, Finance Officer, Sales Analyst, Cost Estimator, Junior Analyst, Tax Accountant.
